I’m writing to you from hot-as-heck Austin, Texas, where we had the third stop of Corpse Tour ‘25. Austin Comics & Books hosted James for what was one of the best signings of his career. Over 250+ people came, some standing in line for hours. We got to meet so many truly kind, cool people, including a couple of the mods of the SIKTC Facebook fan page, a fair amount of Substack subscribers (Hey y’all!), and a three-month-old baby at his second comic signing. Whew. Collectors are getting started earlier and earlier!

We sold out of damn near all of our merch, including all but a few Corpse Tour shirts. The local haunted house even brought a couple of the killers, including the very first Rascal Randy! Unnerving.

By now, you might have noticed that we’re making a unique event card for every individual stop along Corpse Tour ‘25. These are limited to 100 units, and will only be available at the shop we stop at. Part of the goal of Corpse Tour ‘25 is to celebrate comic retailers across North America.* If you haven’t had a chance, we hope to introduce you to your new fave local. If you’re already well acquainted, we hope we can show you what cool stuff they can do. Comics are weird, cool pieces of collaborative art. Come celebrate them with us next time we’re in your town. I had a few Austin cards left, so I gave them to the Austin Comics & Books team to sell. Go in and get them while you can!
