Next week the Tiny Onion Crew is headed to Los Angeles for a team summit and the Exquisite Corpses Release Party. We’ll be working out our comic, game, and [REDACTED] publishing plans for—no exaggeration—the next 10 years. Exquisite Corpses was originally conceived at one of our first summits. Having the team (now with 11 people!) come together the same week we release the first issue feels too kismet. Even better, some of the Corpse Crew will be able to join us for the release party, so we’re going to celebrate.

Back in September 2024, we sent a series bible to the Corpse Crew before the writers summit. One day I would like to release that bible to the public to show off some of the prep work that went into this series. Someday. For today, we’re sharing the playlist and watchlist that we sent out to get the writers in the right headspace before we broke (and outlined!) the full series. My hope is that these will get you in the right headspace before Exquisite Corpses #1 comes out next Wednesday, May 14th! Available at your local comic shop.

Aww, c'mon--you wouldn't hurt a little kid, would you? A product of the iPad generation, weaned on slur-filled gaming lobbies, G4M3R_KlD has no business being anywhere near an event like this, but he's so desensitized to violence that he has no qualms piloting CALVIN, his heavily armed drone, and aiming it at any target in sight. Kill counts are just high scores to this tyke, and he wants to see his name on the leaderboard.
