ONION DROP 6/8: Coins, Closets, and Chaos

I’m here to give you the latest batch of offerings from SHOP TINY ONION, my partnership with the fine people at Third Eye Comics. I’ve got an eclectic month in stores, and that’s going to be reflected in this month’s drop. Our focus in the store is going to be THE CLOSET, THE SILVER COIN, and THE ODDLY PEDESTRIAN LIFE OF CHRISTOPHER CHAOS!

I’m probably most excited about this new partnership with Michael Walsh’s THE SILVER COIN! Michael cooked up what is probably the best anthology horror comic on the market with the idea centering around a cursed silver coin. Every story follows the coin through history, into the far past and deep future. Michael draws every issue, but he brings in different writers every month. I’m writing the first issue of the third arc, in stores in just a few weeks. It’s also up for an Eisner Award this year! If you like good comic books, go tell your LCS you want to add it to your pull list, and pick up the first two trades!

As you can see, my issue is going to be a very nice, heartwarming story. It’s definitely not one of the most upsetting things I’ve written over the last few years.
