How are you doing?
I’m writing to you post-GLAAD Awards, where Tiny Onion was honored by having three of our books nominated for Outstanding Comic Book: The Nice House By The Sea (DC Comics), The Oddly Pedestrian Life Of Christopher Chaos (Dark Horse), and Spectregraph (DSTLRY)! When we found out, we asked DC to co-sponsor a table with us so we could show up and show out for comics representation.
The award went to Suicide Squad: Dream Team from DC Comics, and the incredible team of Nicole Maines, Eddy Barrows, Eber Ferreira, José Luís, Adriano Di Benedetto, Adriano Lucas, and Becca Carey. Congratulations y’all! While we didn’t win, it kind of…still feels like we did. James, Isaac Goodhart and I got to sit with Molly Ostertag, ND Stevenson and DC Comics—a comic oasis. Chatting with other partygoers about comics and hearing their excitement for them reaffirmed my love for this medium. Comics are cool. Comics are powerful. Comics are for everyone. They’re not—and we’re not—going anywhere. Hopefully next year, the winner of the Outstanding Comic Book will get to accept their award on stage.
IT’S YOU’LL DO BAD THINGS #1 RELEASE WEEK! LET’S GOOO
Speaking of comics being cool, as of this week you’ll be able to pick up You’ll Do Bad Things #1 at your local comic shop. This is the first issue of the limited series from Tyler Boss and Adriano Turtulici, and already it’s getting some incredible reviews. If you haven’t yet, you can still add issue #2 to your pull at your local shop.

It’s been ten years since the release of He Came in With a Smile, the true crime smash hit that chronicled the brutal murders committed by the Nursery Rhyme Killer. But in the decade since its release, its author Seth Holms hasn’t produced another title. He wants to write a story with a happy ending, but every time his fingers clack across the keyboard, it always ends in his character's death. Worse yet? These tales of blood and barbarity that flow so freely from Seth’s mind are starting to happen in real life.
Tyler Boss is going on tour this spring with Matthew Rosenberg, and chances are good that they are coming to a comic shop near you!

The award-winning power duo Matthew Rosenberg and Tyler Boss—co-creators of What's The Furthest Place From Here and 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank—are getting back together to headline a national spring signing tour to celebrate the launches of their respective highly-anticipated series, We're Taking Everyone Down With Us and You'll Do Bad Things, both launching on March 26. Rosenberg and Boss will hit 31 comic shops in 31 days across the U.S., starting with Midtown Comics in New York City on March 26.
