TINY ONION TAKES OVER NEW YORK COMIC CON 2024
Plus! Everywhere James Tynion IV is signing during NYCC!
Hola Onions!
I have missed you. Tiny Onion has been busy at work, as you will start to read over the next two weeks, but today, I bring you our NYCC plans.
Did you know NYCC is our home show?
For our first NYCC, we wanted to go big! So we have a double-wide booth (HB907) near the entrance of Artist Alley! Our booth will offer merch, con exclusives, signings with our collaborators, and the first issue of our newest project: a physical newspaper, TINY ONION PRESENTS (T.O.P.) #1! Our lovely yellow double-wide booth is the only place James will be publicly signing during all of NYCC, so make sure to circle us (HB907) on your map!
At HB907 we’ll have…
TINY ONION PRESENTS (T.O.P.) #1
T.O.P. #1 is the inaugural issue of our physical newspaper! Available for one dollar ($1.00 USD) at newspaper stands inside the Tiny Onion booth (HB907) and the official NYCC Merch booth.
A celebration of print, T.O.P. #1 features expansive articles, including Silver Sprocket and the Return of Indie Comics, A Conversation with Josh Hixson and Tyler Boss, and James Tynion IV Reflects Back on the First Nine Months of Tiny Onion, an interview by SKTCHD’s David Harper.
Working on T.O.P. with the Tiny Onion crew was wonderfully cathartic. Witnessing each contributor’s playfulness and creativity was like a jolt of energy straight to the brain, and the result is a beautiful, inky peek into what we love about comics. Make zines with your friends! Long live physical media! - Courtney Menard, Director Of Production, T.O.P Editor
For fans of RAZORBLADES: THE HORROR MAGAZINE, there’s a spooky take on the classic comic strip, Razorblades Presents Sunday Scaries, featuring new horror comic strips by Brian Level, Caroline Cash, Courtney Menard, Ezra Claytan Daniels, Jenna Cha, Josh Simmons, Marie Enger, and Sam Alden.
T.O.P. will also feature unique takes on classic sections such as Birth Announcements (DeAna Avila), Community Calendar (Kerin Cunningham) and Horror-scopes by Greg Lockard, with Illustrations by V. Gagnon.
For eagle-eyed Onion fans, we’ve snuck in easter eggs, in-universe ads, announcements, and teasers for what we have coming out in the next few years. Supplies limited. Pick up your copy at NYCC 2024!
COMICS!
We’ll have limited quantities of our best selling comics available in the booth. By now some of you have [COMMAND-F] searched for the word ‘exclusives’ so I’ll get right to the point…

As the weather turns cold, and the veil between this and the spirit worlds begins to emerge, we realize our one year anniversary (January 2nd) is within sight. NYCC is our hometown show. We want to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished this year, and let you in on what we’ve got coming next year. Most of our team will be working the Onion booth, so please stop by and say hello. We’d love to put a face to the reader.
psst! Tune in next week when we announce to (2) big things!
Happy (almost) Halloween!
