We’ve had a busy year of growth, and now we are proud to unveil a brand new initiative we’ve dubbed our Artists in Residence program. The initial class of which will consist of Jordie Bellaire and Aditya Bidikar!
Our goal for this initiative is to build a better version of the “exclusive” contract, and not only provide talent with stability and guaranteed work without all the usual red tape but to also celebrate them as multi-hyphenate creators and crucial members of the Tiny Onion ecosystem.

Meet Our New Crew!

Jordie Bellaire is an Eisner Award-winning colorist based in Portland, Oregon. Jordie is best known for her color artistry on The Nice House on the Lake, Phantom Road, The Vision, Pretty Deadly, and the Tiny Onion title w0rldtr33, along with guest contributions to The Department of Truth. She is also an accomplished writer on series including Redlands and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I believe that James has built an incredible team and I’m honored to be part of that as an Artist in Residence. We’re excited to make projects that inspire, terrify and subvert– readers and creators have so much to look forward to!”

Aditya Bidikar is an Eisner Award-nominated letterer and writer based in India. Aditya’s recent lettering work includes Aquaman: Andromeda, 20th Century Men, and the Tiny Onion titles The Department of Truth, The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos, w0rldtr33, and Spectregraph.

In addition to collaborating with Elsa Charretier and James on the upcoming series, The City Beneath Her Feet at DSTLRY and a variety of other future projects, Jordie and Aditya will each be developing their own new original series with Tiny Onion to be published at Image Comics.
