Please do 10 page PDF drops. As for Panels: most people use Android phones, and while iPads are common, many people use Android tablets, and Chromebooks far outsell any Apple devices and can use Android apps. Please stay away from locked ecosystems or at least seek cross platform solutions.

I’m all too excited for the Blue Book comic. A “true crime” clinical retelling of famous UFO encounters is an incredible well to mine for great storytelling. If there’s any interest in some other lesser-known stories specifically from aviation experts, here’s a great video for reference: https://youtu.be/AkGkOdpxAL8

This was another great conversation between you two. Thank you for sharing it! Reading about your enthusiasm for this topic really gets me excited for it. I can’t wait to read the first part tomorrow! There was something you said that was interesting to me. “I think there's a rising generation who are not used to seeing the world that they live in reflected in the books or comics that they read.” I hadn’t realized it, but this is very true. There is so much fantasy and wish-fulfillment in entertainment these days that there is very little opportunity to share a more real-world experience with a character in a story. Entertainment is more escapist and doesn’t really challenge the audience to think or feel about the world they live in. While escapist entertainment has its place, I hope we aren’t getting rooted so firmly in it that we miss out on the experiences that more real-world narratives can provide.

I hope you utilize the Panels app. It’s great, and I will say the one disadvantage I’ve seen with Substack is that comics in a standard page format are not terribly easy to read on mobile.

Panels is a fantastic app. Very happy to hear you’ll be leveraging it. But please make the comic available as CBR/CBZ for folks using other apps
