From the pages of the hit Image Comics series, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRUTH: WILD FICTIONS opens the the case files of the Department's Field Office, revealing the histories of Cryptids and Urban Legends.
I don't know if this will be shunned or applauded but...I converted this into a pretty nice cbr and will probably do the same for all others (for personal use only of course). I'd be happy to share with the mods if interested.
“While Director Oswald’s official stance on department-wide sensitivity training is that it is ‘a bunch of new-age hippie bullshit,’…” Hahahahahaha!!! 🤣
Hey there! Is there any way to change an answer on the survey? I went with no signature (in the hopes that I could get it signed in person some day) but realized that it could be a very long time until that could come to fruition, so I would actually like the book signed.
First off, I hope you enjoyed going to the barber. After reading this issue, I saw it contained more information than my original assumption of how a case file should be. Nonetheless, this is a great first issue with the recent connection to the DoT. I'm ready for Fridays to get my fix of TRUE WEIRD as I flip flop with UFO and Cryptid content. I wish more content would come out sooner but I understand that it takes time to put out great content on here. Are the future projects you have coming up going to be exclusively for your substack or will there more print content I can buy at my LCS? Either way, I'm super excited to see your next upcoming projects. I wish you the best on the work load you have ahead of you. Happy Friday night and the start of Spooky Season!!!
I held off on switching to a paid subscription, but with blue book and now this? Well it's a breath of fresh air. By any chance have you checked out Max brooks book Devolution? It's been a really good big foot yarn.
This was fun. Some feedback - would be cool to see the field report on a page similar to the info card to make it feel more in world and differentiate from a regular Substack post
Amazing stuff this is going to be a lot of fun! Long live true weird friday!

I'm so happy I saw mention of Champ in there. Many summer days were spent worrying about Champ coming up beneath the boat. I hope we get more!

This is fantastic! True Weird is such a fun genre and I can't wait to read more of these and Project Blue Book

Love the field office logo!

Damn. Missed the cutoff by a day. Will the wild truths posts be available in CBR or CBZ format like the blue books?
