A couple of questions, and I apologize if you've already answered these before. (1) How will we read Blue Book when it comes out? Is there a comic reading app that we need to download? Will they be PDFs? JPEGs? (2) Has the link been sent out to enter our mailing address for all of THE ONION CLUB 1st 24-hour membership stuff? I'm just so stoked for all of this goodness that I don't want to miss it. Thank you, sir!
1) There will be a lot more info on this soon! I'm figuring out the final pieces over the next few days before the BLUE BOOK launch, and figuring out how the Panels app works. The biggest thing I can say right now is I want to provide you all with options that work best for you! A lot of what we're doing here is trial and error, so we're going to try some shit! Stay tuned!
2) The email to the First-24 Hour folks hasn't gone out yet, mostly because I have been stupid busy for the last few weeks. When I'm back in NYC from the current trip, it's moving to the top of my to do list!

Not sure if this something like this would be remotely possible... but AWA does some really cool stuff with their digital comics. People obviously will read in a lot of different ways, but reading AWA releases on a phone screen is very intuitive and effective.

Been enjoying the Substack and all the insight into The JTIV Process! I like thinking of them as “pearl onions of wisdom”.
What relationship (if any) does the Razorblades subscription have with the Substack subscription? Will they continue as two separate entities, or be merged under the Substack banner?
Today I signed up for the Onion Club, will I get contacted for my details or can I fill them in somewhere? Thanks in advance and I really love your work James!
Is there a way for Day One/Founders Club subscribers to switch our choice of books from unsigned to signed for the “storage locker” books that we’ll be receiving?
it's not clear if we're getting the storage locker books. Twitter and here have been mum on the subject. Though I am hopeful it's just travel backlog on our fearless leaders part.
Check out some of the comments from the most recent updates and not so much this thread as a few people have reported getting the Department of Truth #1 Tiny Onion variant that James had announced pre-pandemic. It had a small print run, he had put some up for sale long ago (I missed out) but he said that he would have copies for sale at conventions, but then the pandemic hit and shut conventions down for 2020 so unsure if he will be selling any at future shows, but some people confirmed getting one as their Day One bonus. Also a few people reported getting the DoT #1 1:100 variant which featured a homage cover based on SIKTC #1.
That's awesome. Did you get yours yet? I got my Onion Club HoS#1 but it didn't have a locker book, just 2 copies of HoS#1 (the black light variant and the standard variant)
If you mean the Day One/Storage Locker book, no I haven't. The two packages I got last week contained one Onion Club variant for HoS #1 and the other package contained the variant that was offered for sale about a month ago. It's a packaging glitch, clearly it has affected more than one person but I am hopeful things will be made right. Check the latest update JT sent out this morning as it talks about what to do if you have an issue with your order.
So was mistakenly thinking $250 subscribers missed out on today’s HOS initial offering but looks like we will get one plus five more along the way. That is great news, thank you!
All this sounds awesome! I hope you one day consider coming down to Florida as I’d be all over the Onion Club exclusive merch you’d have at the table. I swear we’re not all as bad as what you hear on the news! I just recently got into comics thanks to my wife and you’re stuff is the main reason I see myself sticking around with them for a long time. Wish you the best of luck with all you got on your plate.

Hey James! Just wanted to tell you that I recently finished reading The Sandman for the first time and jumped right into your Nightmare Country, and I think you did such a good job of capturing the mood and feel of the original stuff, which I imagine would be hard to do. I'm really enjoying it!
How do I get a refund for my auto renewal since it was pointless for 2023 as you have moved platforms and I was not automatically transferred over as a founding member.
Just checked my settings since my subscription renews tomorrow and saw I'm being billed as an annual subscriber, but last year I joined at the Onion Club level. When I click on "Change" under "Change Plan", only the monthly and Annual options appear. Has the Onion Club been discontinued? I just want to understand what happened and make sure I know how much I'm being charged tomorrow, but I didn't see any news to that extent in any of your posts.
