So, it was about a year ago that I realized that I needed to build a plan for 2020. I had just launched SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN to rave reviews and sold out of multiple printings of the book. WYND had been greenlit months prior, and we were targeting November for the release of the first of three OGNs, with a January announcement. I had been announced as the new writer of BATMAN, taking over with issue 86. And to top it all off, I had just convinced Eric Stephenson to greenlight DEPARTMENT OF TRUTH at Image Comics.
Wow, definitely a fan reading your newsletters. Do to work, I do push the newsletter to the end of the day as a bedtime read. I also was one of the lucky ones that order Razorblades #1 and I love it. Can wait for Razorblades #2. My calendar reminder is set for the 16th at 11CST. I’m definitely going to reach out to my local LCS to let them know about the to reach out to you for that Retailer Variants. With SIKTC, I know that #11 is come out, but I have 18 cover starting from issue 1. I say that not to show off the collection but to say that SIKTC and WYND are the books that I can share with my niece. It’s something that we have in common and I’m proud that I was able to get her into comics that she enjoys. Even though this have been a crazy year, congrats on all your done and achieved. Fan4life!!!
The Department of Truth is incredible. I can't remember enjoying a comic book this much. You continue to amaze!
